I haven't been to many hotels yet but this one is a "we'll be back". Stayed with my son here this weekend as he had swimming gala next door. When they say don't judge the book by its cover, this is it. Rooms are nice and clean, staff was so very helpful. Food was very delicious. Stayed only a night but we loved it. Thank you

My partner and I come here fairly regularly. We are always amazed at the incredible value! Rooms are perfectly clean and comfortable, no frills but who needs them?!, and full English breakfast is in with the price. What more could we want?
Good budget hotel. Rooms are clean, beds comfortable, soap & shower gel included. The staff are also lovely. They could do with bigger cups for the tea/coffee in the rooms. The only real let down is the entrance & pot holes in the car park.
This was our 2nd stay at the King Charles Hotel. The reception staff are warm and welcoming. Its is a perfect stop on our way to Calais - only a 45 minute drive. The Hotel itself is beautiful - roomy and airy with great public areas to sit and enjoy a drink from the bar. We had a meal in the restaurant - good food and lovely service. The bedrooms are great- spacious and immaculately clean. The beds are very comfortable and there is a TV and free tea, coffee etc. Breakfast was amazing and the staff are so friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay again - highly recommended!
I booked this hotel on a whim. Ooh what a surprise from the outside it doesn't look that much. In side it was excellent. From the moment I checked in the staff we're really top nothing was too much. Having spent the day roaming around Chatham. We decided to eat in the restaurant Again fantastic service from the attentive staff. The food was excellent ( I had the steak and ale pie my friend had chicken in white wine and mushrooms sauce) the portions were more than enough for us. My room was clean and modern ( a tad warm) . I'm glad I found this little gem of a hotel and I certainly will be staying there again soon. Well done all the fantastic staff.
I always love staying here. It's not fancy but it is welcoming, clean, comfortable and excellent value. I love that it is not a bland and faceless Travelodge or similar, it has personality (including amazing collections of cacti and , tanks of tropical fish!) and the staff give it a real family feel. Breakfast is very good and the rooms are always spotless with good hot water, hairdryer, kettle, decent shower etc.
Great one night stay. Bought dinner for four and all the meals were excellent. The service was very good considering they had a coach load in for the weekend. Breakfast was a choice of just 6 items which I found limiting, I much prefer a buffet style but having said that it was good food and well presented. Great stay, my only negative point, and this certainly does not reflect in any way the hotel, I did not like the very very large bed my wife was to far away to keep me warm.
